What is PBX+?

PBX+ is a next-generation phone system that works with your current setup. There is no software or hardware to install or buy. PBX+ answers calls and greets your callers by your customized business greeting - "Thanks for calling xyz corp. Please enter the extension you are trying to reach - Press 1 for sales, 2 for support, 3 for John.. .". Then PBX+ routes the calls based on caller's preference for extension. Know your caller plugin a feature of PBX+ enables you to know the callers, when was the last time they called and you can leave notes on their calls. Also you can pull in caller data from CRMs such as Salesforce, ZOHO and Sugar.

What phones are supported?

PBX+ supports almost every phone - Skype, Google Talk, Landline, Mobile, VoIP.

How can PBX+ help my business?

PBX+ enables your business sound Fortune 500, thus instantly expanding the opportunity for your customers to do business with you and not with your competitors. Your business will be effective communicating with your customers during phone calls. With extensions and call forwarding, your customers call only one number and not your employee directly.

Can my business receive multiple calls at a time?

Yes. You can receive as many as 10 calls at a time. Your callers can individually speak with your sales and support at the same time. If your employees are busy on the phone, PBX+ automatically sends the callers to voicemail.

Which countries do you support?

Currently we offer toll free and local numbers from USA, Canada and UK. We have support for providing local numbers in more than 50 countries. You can forward calls across 30+ countries. Calls can also be forwarded to Skype/Gtalk.



Billing

What costs are incurred?

PBX+ offers you 4 simple month plans.Based on the number of minutes you need each month choose a plan that best suits your requirements.

Do my unused minutes rollover ?

Unused minutes are not rolled over each month. Choose a plan that meets your usage.

How do I cancel?

Removing all the numbers from your account will automatically stop your billing. Your forwarding minutes will remain as is when you are ready to resume your service back. There will be no refunds on unused forwarding minutes.

Are there any contracts?

No contracts. At PBX+, all plans are pay as you go. Your forwarding minutes never expire.



Skype/Google Talk

How is this service different from Skype or Google Talk?

PBX+ is a phone system whereas Skype and Vonage are just endpoints to receive calls. PBX+ can forward calls to any extension to your Skype or Google Talk.

Do I need a Skype number to receive calls on Skype?

No. PBX+ forwards your call directly to your Skype Account. Please ensure that you have enough internet bandwidth to receive calls.

I am not receiving calls on Skype and Google Talk. What is wrong?

Please ensure that your privacy settings on Skype allow you to receive calls from Skype Accounts not listed in your contacts.



Greetings and Text to Speech

Can I upload my own greetings?

You can upload your greeting in wav or mp3 format.

What is Text to Speech?

Text to speech is a state-of-art service which can translate your text into voice automatically. Just enter your business or non business hour greeting and PBX+ automatically converts your text into a greeting.

What language/voices does PBX+ support?

PBX+ supports over 20 languages and over 200 dialects with male/female combination.



PBX Features

How do I record calls?

Enable the option to record calls and PBX+ will record all incoming calls.

Do you store call records indefinitely?

We store call records for only 60 days. You can download and store them on your computer.

What is business and non-business hours?

You can set your business hours and non-business hours and your timezone. PBX+ will automatically play your preferred greeting (closed and open hours) to the caller.

How does I get notified of voicemail?

You receive an email when someone leaves you a voicemail.

How can my visitors call me from my site?

PBX+ automatically includes a Browser phone which allows your callers to call you directly from browser without requiring to install any software.

Can my visitors reach me from a phone through call button?

PBX+ automatically generates phone numbers from different countries which your visitors can call to reach your business.

How can I publish my phone system on my site?

Just copy 4-5 lines of HTML code generated in your control panel to your webpage.

Global Access Numbers

What are shared numbers?

PBX+ maintains a large inventory of numbers from various countries. Each account is provided a global extension accessible from these local access numbers. Eg: customer in Japan can call a local number in Japan and enter your global extension to reach your business. Global extension is unique to an account where as shared numbers can be shared between different accounts.

What is the cost?

Since the numbers are shared between all accounts, the service is entirely free of cost. These numbers can play your business/non-business hour greetings and prompt the caller for your extension. Or can even forward your calls to employees (you will need forwarding minutes) or send them to voicemail.
